I'm a bit confused after I spoke to an immigration lawyer in the States. He claims that my mother would've had to have been a U.S. citizen the entire 10 year duration of her residing in the states. He said that since she only was a PR in the States until the age of 14 (when she become a citizen. She lived there from age of 8 -19) that she would not have passed on citizenship to her children. But all everyone has told me so far is that she very well may have passed it on to her kids. Very confused.
